We named our property Hesed Hill—a name that carries special meaning for us.
During the stressful process of buying our home in Tennessee, a friend introduced me to a Ghost Ship album. As I listened, a song called Hesed played, and I was mesmerized. I had never heard that word before, but it struck something deep within me.

Hesed is a Hebrew word that has no direct English equivalent. It speaks of God’s steadfast, loyal love—the kind of love that remains through thick and thin, an unbreakable family bond. It’s a love so rich and profound that it defies simple translation. In that moment, I knew without a doubt that our new home had to bear this name.

Through every fear and failing, God was with us. Hesed Hill is a reminder that His love never ever wavers.
